To start with, unpack the printer by removing the tape and packing materials from the printer.
If the device is all-in-one, remove the tape and packing materials from the scanner glass.
Plug-in to a power source.

Now, open the ink cartridge loading box.
Wait for a few minutes till the cartridge is idle and silent.
Ensure that you remove the tape on the ink cartridge before inserting it.
Close the ink cartridge door and follow the instructions on the printer manual.
Depending on the printer type, load the necessary sheets of paper in the main input tray and push inside until the paper stops.
Make sure the sides of the paper are not damaged while inserting it into the input tray.

If you don’t find the indicator light glowing, check whether the power outlet is currently in use.
Attach your printer’s power cable and data cable to both the printer and the computer.
In case you find an orange or a blinking light in the printer, then check whether there is a paper jam or issues in the ink or toner cartridge.
Also, ensure that no paper is fed into the printer partially.
